My friend installed this because he is way more tech savvy than me. He was a little embarrassed because it was definitely a Chinese fake of a pretty good brand. But after connecting and installing it, we are both very happy with it. It has a lot of features that our cable company router didn't offer, like the ability to whitelist certain devices and prevent others from accessing the network even with a password, Wi-Fi 6 enabled, etc. Love it all the features it packs into a small device with a small price tag. The big light that tells you if you're connected or not is really nice too, since you don't have to try to see what color it is. It was very easy to assemble, but the instructions are in very small print. You may need a magnifying glass or a zoom smartphone to read.
