This kit includes a replacement cap and a replacement female/female zip adapter and 2 silicone straps; one to attach the cap to the pen and one to attach the Lightning adapter to the cable. Silicone straps will help you avoid losing these parts in the future. I purchased this kit to replace a used Apple Pencil I purchased that was missing these items. Compared to Apple's OEM Pencil, these parts are very similar (although there are slight differences). For an adapter, make sure the side with the dot goes into the pin and the other side attaches to the cable. Fixing it opposite doesn't work and the connection comes loose. Overall I am happy with this product and would recommend it. BENEFITS • Complete replacement kit for cap and Lightning adapter • Very close to OEM in use and appearance • Logo on silicone cables • Lightning cable cord twists when attached to adapter and cord (design error); my cable and packaging do not look like the photos; The part that goes around the cable is wide and actually only fits into the thicker base of the cable in one direction. I believe this product should be priced around $10 but if the product lasts a long time then it's a good deal
