I lost my Apple Pence cap so I'm ordering this kit. The lid change was perfect, I didn't notice any difference! I love that my Apple Pencil cap is attached to the pencil. The charger is great, now I can charge my pencil with my charging cable. Very happy with this purchase

I'm not sure if this is a design issue or a defect. As you can imagine, since the end of the pen is the same size as the end of a standard charging cable, both sides must be the same size. But the tip of the tip is larger and doesn't fit snugly - it doesn't snap in as expected and comes off easily. If I had known this beforehand, I would have sent the product back.

This was my first purchase from TechMatte after losing the cap and charging adapter for my Apple Pencil. Little did I know the cap tether and charging adapter tether would be such fantastic items for securing essential Apple Pencil accessories. The Techmatte replacement cap and charging adapter for our Apple Pencil arrived quickly and is a well made product that matches the original accessory that came with the pen (our original had jumped ) . The lid and adapter actually contain improvements over the originals. Both parts have an extra small loop that you can use to attach them to your pen and charging cable so they don't get lost. This set saved a life! I bought my 10 year old artist son an iPad and an Apple Pencil to learn about digital art. I didn't have to use the cap very often as it was mainly bought as a spare in case I lose the one supplied by Apple. However, I've tried it with a pencil and there is little to no difference. Aside from some very minor cosmetic differences that would only be visible if up close, I can't tell the replacement cover from the one on the Apple Pencil.
