Review on High-Speed Dual Band Wi-Fi Gigabit Router by NETGEAR: Ideal for Mac and PC (WNDRMAC) by Jimmy Montalvo

I've been using it for about 6 months and it works great! I bought this to replace an old Linksys router that finally failed. It looks pretty classy and looks great next to my white WD MyBook NAS drive. The guest network has another great second goal in my setup. Instead of using it for guest access, I configured it with a WEP key so older devices could access an isolated portion of my network for internet access only. This allows me to keep the newer encryption on my 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz bands. Its isolation ensures that if someone breaks this WEP, other devices on the network will not be compromised. I used to do this with DD-WRT on my other routers. The beauty is that you don't have to mess with firmware modifications to accomplish this task. I'm very happy with it!
