The guards are really well designed. They are durable, well coated and equipped with an O-ring to protect against water. Yes, installation is a little tedious, but once you remove 1 screw on the driver's side fog lamp, the rest is a breeze. I do NOT have a silver bumper on my JK. At the same time, the fog lights fit perfectly. Judging by other reviews, these fenders will only fit if you don't have a silver bumper like the Sahara. I have protection for headlights and signal lights, and they perfectly withstand heat over 100 degrees and cold down to 10 degrees. Definitely worth spending 30 minutes installing fog lights. Rugged Ridge shipped them in less than 2 days and provided detailed instructions on how to remove the fog lights.
