I'm in the habit of ordering things and then reading the reviews so I was really surprised to read all the negative reviews saying this product just crushed the garlic and didn't push it through so I thought I'd snap some photos of my work. It did exactly what it was supposed to do - push the garlic through the holes, you will scrape it from the inside with the little spatula provided, all that's left is the garlic skin as you can see in the 3rd photo. The included brush is easy to clean and has enough stiff bristles to clean the press. I wanted to get away from mincing garlic (when I don't have minced garlic in a jar) and this device takes care of that.
