Review on 6-Quart Stainless Steel Stockpot with Lid by Cooks Standard by Shane Palma

This is a very nice pot to add to the set we bought a few months ago which only had pots for 4 and 8 QT. This looks very heavy and well constructed. The heat is distributed evenly and this works well with our Electrolux induction hob. It's easy to clean. We look forward to many years of service. Update Nov 2016: After a few months of use this kettle was making a loud hum/whistle when used on one of the appropriate parts of our induction hob. I contacted the seller and explained the problem. They immediately sent a replacement pot which only arrived a few days later. They said that we can dispose of the old pot at will. That's great service! Despite problems after only a few months, still five stars. I actually have a 4.2 QT "pan" (essentially a pan) from another vendor that had the same issue. They only want to give me a partial refund, not a replacement pot, and try to convince me that the problem is normal. I'm thinking maybe I'll take a return and just buy another one of these. Although Wish Cook's standard has made it in 4.5 or 5 liters - 6 liters is actually a little more than two people need for most things.
