DO NOT BUY ON AMAZON. DELL MAKES NO WARRANTIES. I learned the hard way as many others have warned. This external drive is of poor quality and didn't even last a year. Dell will not grant the two-year limited warranty! This product does not have a DELL service number and when I called customer service that was all they were interested in and they kept sending me back and forth between departments. Revain directs you to Dell, who in turn directs you to Revain. Nobody wants to take responsibility. If you want to buy this product, buy it direct from Dell and you'll have at least one with a numbered service tag. In addition to all the red tape, the drive itself comes in a plastic case and is very thin, so you can't drop it on a hard surface.
