I love my pixie. I gave one away last year and have regretted it ever since. Tricks I've discovered so far: 1. Use good quality water. We have filtered water available through our kitchen faucets, but Brita will work as well. The nature of the water is of great importance.2. Find the type of coffee you like. Luckily, Nespresso sent a good selection with this order, including little flyers about the different types of coffee they offer, as well as a handy notes section to keep track of. I also try several other coffee pods including the highly acclaimed Bestpresso.3. Let it warm up a little more.4. If they say a pod is only good for espresso, don't be afraid to try it for a lungo (larger size). You may be surprised that many of them taste better with a little hot water and lose their bitterness. It makes a nice lather. Not as good as thousand and two thousand dollar cars, of course, but I wasn't expecting that! Also great for travel. I have a large shoulder bag that I put Pixie in with two mugs and a set of capsules and I'm happy camping!
