Review on ๐Ÿšช Safe and Easy 2-Piece Install Walk Thru Gate: Pack of 2, Fits 29"-38" Wide Spaces by Mia England

Reliable pressure gate - read installation instructions carefully

I bought 2 packs of this gate for use at the base of the stairs. The first one took me a while to figure out, but once I figured that out, the second quickly rose in price. The installation instructions are accurate. If you buy this don't forget to come back on install and read my install notes. I used this in combination with another product to make it safer. I bought a pack of 4 baby gate wall mounts for pressure gates from VMAISI (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L8B1RZG/). These mugs have a kind of silicone side that sticks to the wall to protect them from damage and make them safer. This configuration seems very safe with those extra wall cups and as it's down a flight of stairs I'm comfortable with that. (Sliding gates should not be used at the top of the stairs.) Installation Tip: The most difficult part of the installation was removing the extension plugs on the gate if one or both extensions were used. The instructions give instructions on using a screw on the side of the bumper to gently pry the expansion joints out of the gate. One of the two plugs comes off easily (the top one), but the bottom one is harder. Basically you have to insert a bolt into the hole in the lid and wiggle it (up/down/side to side) in the hole in the lid until it pops out. Impossible to pull it out with bare hands (as I did with several tools for a good half hour and slightly damaged the cap).
