I am writing this review mainly because 95% of the other reviews don't even understand what this product is for or how to install it properly. This product is for any AER1 Holmes filter or copy of an AER1 Holmes filter. If your device uses a filter, this is the right product. No matter what other reviews say. This is not an OEM replacement filter for the front cover of the machine, it is an add-on filter that you apply directly to the FRONT of the AER1 filter. Thus, the airflow is first routed through the OEM filter at the front of the machine, then through the secondary filter and finally through the Homles AER1. Your Holmes AER1 filter or replica will last longer if an amplifier is installed. I will attach installation pictures to help everyone. Figure 1 shows the filters properly installed on the FRONT of the AER1, you simply line up the filter and gently press onto the sides and top. Figure 2 shows the back of the AER1 with the amplifier built in. FRONTPic 3 shows the OEM filter mounted on the front cover, THIS IS NOT THE OEM FRONT FILTER.
