Great filter, homemade

You have a 2013 Monaco Knight with a maxxforce10 engine. Couldn't find anyone to change this secondary fuel filter due to the location of the filter. It's really easy, and this filter was exactly how I made it: enough room to stand on the right side of the engine, behind the batteries. There is a hose connection on the side of the filter housing. Slide a small 3 foot hose into a bucket. Then open the fuel drain hole on the side of the filter housing. Fuel will not flow until you loosen the top of the filter housing. Now go into the bedroom. Remove the engine access panel. Put down the towels. Using a 36mm socket, unscrew the top of the filter housing. It gets a little tight for a few corners. Now the fuel drains into the bucket. When the top is free, gently pull up. Don't let dirt get in. The filter is filled with fuel. Use a small bucket to hold the filter up. take outside. Remove the old filter and replace it with a new one. O-ring Lubricate the ends and carefully place the filter and bonnet back into the filter housing. Tighten very tight. 20 frames per second. Now, under the engine, close the filter drain lever again and remove the hose. Inside, close the engine access door (if a fuel leak occurs). Switch on the ignition key, do not start yet. You can hear the fuel pump pumping outside. Lasts a minute. start now Now it should start. Check for leaks under the engine. Switch off. Now open the engine door in the bedroom to check for fuel leaks. Everything should be fine. Tighten the engine door, close it, done. It took me an hour because I was meticulously slow. Save $200 Replace every 1-2 years depending on conditions
