Received it yesterday and put it back on straight away. I used socks (yes I hung my head in embarrassment lol) to level the bookshelves I had (on the carpet) because my floor isn't exactly level. I wanted to replace them with something that wasn't an obvious eyesore. I considered wooden spacers but am glad I went with plastic. There are some heavy books on my bookshelves and I wonder if wooden books would support their weight. I had four corners to line up, so I decided to buy two packs just in case. I'm glad I did because I had to double the plastic spacers on each corner (and when I say double I mean I used two sets of two). Luckily, doubling your calves to get the level that works for you is easy. Keep in mind that if what you're trying to balance is very heavy, you'll probably need to double them as well. It was only one day, but so far I'm happy. They were as advertised and do their job. I will update this review if anything changes.
