Review on 🌊 Enhanced Saeco APWF Aqua Prima Water Filter for Improved Filtering Performance by Cathy Magel

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Keeps the boiler clean but can contaminate other things

A bit bulky in the water tank but a small price to pay for having my Saeco Vienna Plus between descaling every 3 months or whenever the boiler gets warm great runs expire disappear in the delivery of hot water from pannarello. The filter must not be shaken, otherwise carbon particles will fall into the tank - most importantly, gentle hands. However, keep a spare plastic mesh cover under your Prima just in case. A word of caution, you will lose some vapor pressure. I drink black 85% of the time so I don't care and I can remove the filter if I really want a strong vapor. Also another thing that may be a quirk of my machine, you get more coffee grounds which build up faster behind the brew group. It could be a deal breaker but geez I hate descaling so I don't know if I should keep using Aqua prima. I might just get too worked up about cleaning up the extra mud. I have to decide on December 20th when to replace the filter.
