Red heart loves the yarn

Arrived on time and in excellent condition. I'll tell you a story about Red Heart yarn :) My mother used it a lot. Using her then (early 1970s) "thrifty" yarn, she made matching sweaters for my two younger brothers. My brothers wore sweaters until they outgrew them. My middle brother somehow managed to keep his and gave it to me for my son to wear. My son wore it until he outgrew it. Now my eldest grandson wears it. Yes, I'm not joking. The sweater is over 30 years old and hasn't faded, stretched, wrinkled or anything - it looks just as good as the day my mom finished it. It has been machine washed and dried. no special care at all. The yarn was formerly called Coats & Clark Red Heart. Both my grandmother and mother used their threads, embroidery threads, knitting threads, etc. If you look at the label, it's still made by Coats & Clark. Ignore all reviews. This yarn is suitable for all everyday things - hats, scarves, mittens, blankets. Children's clothes, towels, blankets and yes, children's things. It's soft, but wears out like iron. You simply can't go wrong with Red Heart yarn. So yes I will definitely be buying more for new projects and yes I would highly recommend it to a friend.
