Don't be fooled! This product is not 100% stainless steel. I was finally able to contact the manufacturer and found out that the interior had been sandblasted for some strange reason. This means it has a gray inside that has been sprayed on and will peel off if you towel dry the inside like they tell you to. That means it gets into your water when you boil it. Rough! I'm sending it back for a refund as I feel I was misled in my purchase. The company offered to send me a free replacement for their Alexa 3.0 stainless steel model, but I've just been reading review after review of how it was rusting inside. Obviously their kettles aren't stainless steel or they wouldn't rust. Revain really should ban this company as they falsely advertise their products!
