The lid rusts very quickly. I admit I didn't pay much attention to them (only in the dishwasher), but they rust so quickly. That suits me personally as I never have drinks that touch the lid. But now I'm a little worried about the stainless steel straw. in either case it is impossible to observe within the straw. will probably go with disposable paper straws. The glasses are quite stable and can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher. I've never tasted anything hot (I've tried a shot from a Nespresso machine, but it's quite small. It's only one shot, after all). But in my experience with glasses that aren't meant to be tempered, it's best not to pour hot water into them. I'll probably go for cheaper jars without lids and buy good lids. You cannot expect a non-essential product (lids/straws) to be of excellent quality as they are purely glass accessories.
