I got this device because I hate the normal baby aspirators that I can never get clean - this one you can disassemble and sterilize the parts that come in contact with your child and the snot (4 parts, to be exact), and a handy tube allows you to fully flush the hand held pump mechanism (see video). The three levels of suction are nice since you can attack different levels of goopiness. I don’t think my child enjoyed the experience, but hey! It’s better than not breathing!The suction levels are perfect and will not harm skin if the nozzle gets covered briefly in your suction escapades. (But don’t do it on purpose!)The light was unexpected… it cycles through the rainbow while the unit is on. The light can’t be turned off. What was more unexpected was the "nursery rhyme” (as advertised on the Ebay page), is the Forest Gump movie’s main theme song (think Tom Hanks)… and I have serious doubts they got the proper permissions for that. It’s a really nice tune though, so I understand why they used it… it’s still kinda a lawsuit waiting to happen.Also the instruction manual is very clear and well organized. In addition to the manual, there’s instructions put directly onto the unit using a removable sticker, and little tags on items to make sure important points don’t get missed. I really appreciated the tags particularly.The white case for everything is perfect so nothing gets lost, since this machine has almost a dozen small parts.The only real negative thing I have is that the tiny cleaning brush is not long enough to clean all of the long tube. I will probably end up cutting it a little shorter for my own desires… or getting a really long straw cleaner.Overall, this is obviously a well designed, and well thought out product. I really appreciate all of it and I’m very happy with it. If you have the money, (and maybe the anal-ity I do) this product is absolutely worth it.
