I decided to do a new HTPC build this year and this time also decided to try something other than Crucial/Mushkin for RAM. Based on the AM4 and A8-9600, I was really looking forward to the Ryzen APUs, but this 7th Gen A series is a pretty impressive chip on its own. This is my first build with DDR4 and it's important to note that the entire Bristol Ridge APU lineup is limited to 2400MHz RAM. Why did I choose this particular set? Firstly to avoid the flashy heatsink design that some companies have now (check out Gskill/Geil) and because it was the cheapest kit that looked good back then. I am very glad that most companies are moving away from green circuit boards for memory! Adata has been around for a long time and seems to make good products with high reviews, so I thought "why not". Everything went smoothly. No issues so far, but I'll update this review if the flash drive fails. System: Gigabyte AB350M-D3HAMD A-8 9600Adata XPG Gammix 2400Mhz 4GB X 2Adata XPG SX6000 128GB Silverstone Grandia GD09
