Felt and NOT ONLY!
I love these needles. I first bought them when I was learning to felt, then used them with my students (HS - they are SHARP). In addition to being an artist, I am also a taxidermist specializing in conversion work. I found these needles to be GREAT for repairs - I could feel for missing fur when repairing a wolf rug (look before and after - the green areas were missing fur, the finished wolf had alpaca wool inserted into the existing fur) and could use them to pin a bear pelt . We usually use T-Pens for this, but your needles are longer, sharper, stronger and less visible. So many uses!
