I bought this to replace my previous low profile Cheetah mount. My problem: My studs in this part of the wall are 31" apart because of the sewer. This backplate is 36 inches wide and fits perfectly, allowing me to attach it with 2 rivets. This is a VERY STRONG mount and also a very LOW PROFILE. No joke, my 70" TV is now less than 1" from the wall. Make sure you connect your cables first like others have said. To add more cables you will need to remove the TV from the mount as it does not "tilt" like other TV mounts. The TV actually freezes at 4 instead of 2 points, which I like.1 Problem: The stupid spirit level is junk. I trusted him, not my laser line, and my TV is misaligned by about 1/8 inch in one corner. Instead of putting the screws back on the stud, I just slide the brackets attached to the TV up 1./8 inch on one side and that's it. Great device at a great price. We recommend
