That does not work! Junk
I received two of these, the first seemed defective so I returned the other and got the same result. My configuration is an older 5 year old monitor. I want to connect my MacBook and be able to connect a second monitor. It only seems to have one usable USB-C port. Every time I tried to connect both, it either switched to battery or the monitor didn't work. In both cases, it turned out that the second USB-C port was not working. Well, back to China to improve the quality.
