This is definitely the smallest straightener I've ever used, it's very thin and narrow but don't let that fool you, this little wand straightens hair just as well as the previous type . Gift wrapped, very nice packaging and presentation. I really like the addition of a heating mat, I usually just put it on my dresser so having that protection is a plus. I also find it very attractive, it goes well together. As said, the rectifier itself is small but powerful. I find it light and easy to use and manage. I use smaller sections because my old straightener was wider. I wouldn't say this is a disposable straightener, at least not for my hair, but I have wavy/curly hair. It heats up quickly and has pretty clear settings. I had never heard of this brand before but after using the straightener I definitely looked up what other products this line had because they were really good quality. The plates slide through my hair and don't pull. It gets very hot, so be careful not to burn yourself if you hold it to the end.
