The seller advertises this cord as being 6.56ft (78") which was the primary reason I bought it over its competitors. All competitors' were less than 5ft, so with this extra length I would not need to use an extension cord where I wanted it installed. As you can see in the photograph I've uploaded, however, the cord I received with this product is also less than 5ft (only 58") which made all the difference in where I wanted to install it. I had to use an extension cord, something I did not want to do, which added to the overall cost of this light.The metal clips it comes with are also extremely flimsy and thin. So thin, in fact, that while trying to adjust the light after snapping it into place the metal bent around the screw and the entire clip came off leaving the screw in the board. I've since fixed this with a thin washer, but it was still extra work that should not have to be done.There is no motion activation so I'm not sure why that is a review criteria for posting this review. It is touch activated which is something my 5 year old son loves. It's very responsive and is plenty bright for his desk (almost too bright). For this, and the fact the company responded quickly to my concerns, I give it 3 stars versus 1.
