I have this so I can stream my switch to play jackbox games over skype. It works, there is a bit of lag although I wouldn't use this for playing more latency sensitive video games. There's no pass-through, meaning the only output you get is on the computer, which doesn't really matter to me, but if you want to record on the computer and still play it back on the TV, you probably should take another map. Windows recognized it immediately and displayed it directly in the built-in camera app.
