I bought this to replace the foam in an existing sofa cushion. (My husband loves to sit and watch TV and has a permanent buttock cast on the pillow.) I was looking for something solid that would stand up to multiple sessions and it was perfect without being rock hard! I cut it to shape with an electric carving knife (not just for Thanksgiving turkeys) and it cut the butter like a hot knife. Then simply spray on some 3M spray adhesive to stick the batting to the top and back of the pillowcase. The sofa looks and feels brand new and took me less than 30 minutes to make!
