Exchange is not as easy as I thought. It took over 30 minutes and multiple attempts to put everything back together (along with a lot of patience). I had to flatten the 2 prong metal part that contacts the battery and add a small piece of foam tape to make all the buttons work. After that it was much easier to pack. The front and middle parts were replaced, but managed to keep the rear end with the Ford logo. Definitely cheaper than a complete replacement. The biggest disadvantage is when the metal ring is plastic and not metal. Let's see how long this lasts.
