I'm overweight but not huge. You need to make an adjustment to make it wider. It works for me, but my hips are tight to the point where it becomes uncomfortable after about 45 minutes. It could easily have been 3-4 inches wider and still fit my chair, so an adjustable rail on the bottom to allow the legs to expand would have made this product 100% better. As for the mouse deck, as I've seen it, it's pointless. I use a trackball that sits on the armrest of my chair. I would say that most people with laptops use a touchscreen, built-in mouse, or trackball. It's convenient to put your stickers with stock symbols on it. So this is a really comfortable table: I give this 5 stars in all categories except ergonomics, send me 2 with wider or adjustable legs that get wider (I bought 2 of this model) and I would happily rewrite this review to include them to tell about it. how helpful this guy is.
