I needed a smoke machine to fix a small evaporator leak in my daughter's Jeep Wrangler. This little machine is perfect for my needs. I have never used a smoke machine before and found it very easy to set up and use. It has a rugged all-metal construction with a pressure gauge and flow meter. The included user guide was pretty basic with one exception. It has not addressed the appropriate pressure of your air compressor. I contacted Romondes customer service to ask about it before using it. They quickly emailed me and explained that it doesn't matter what PSI your compressor is, which surprised me a bit. Just in case, I used my small 100psi oil free compressor with standard 1/4 inch NPT Type M fittings. added. I used a funnel and brought it to the top of the feed hole on the back of the machine. The baby oil worked great with the added benefit of a very pleasant smell when working with your vehicle. I really appreciate the velcro for the cable on the back of the device. It easily holds your flight and power cables. I was impressed that they included a Schrader valve removal tool along with a piece of hose with a brass fitting to connect to your car's test port if it has one. I highly recommend this smoke machine for DIY enthusiasts. It's durable, compact, produces lots of smoke, and has all the features you need.
