My old coffee grinder broke and I needed a replacement. I've argued for a long time about exactly what I want as there are so many options. I chose this one as I'd rather charge than plug in. My last cable was quickly worn out. The device itself has a stainless steel grinding container with a lid. Then place a large lid/cup on top (and press down) to activate the grind. The stainless steel tray is removable for easy loading of ground beans and cleaning. I grind the beans for about 5-7 seconds and they grind perfectly, just how I like my french press. I don't brew a lot of coffee at once, so meals may vary depending on how much you're brewing. The device arrived almost fully charged with a charging cable (USB to mini-USB). I ordered and wrote this review, I only had to top up 1 time.
