2006 Honda CR-V: Make sure the lip holder is over the first set of pleats

2006 Honda CR-V users here. The installation turned out to be very simple, but for the nuance with the design. The first/last fold is glued to the end, so if you try to fit any of the filters into the holders you will either get a) a gap around the edges from trying to fit the entire filter into the lip holder (which isn't ideal for a filter) or you need to carefully curl the first folds under the lip of the holder (see my photos). Since this is a paper-based filter, brute force isn't always the answer. . I've found that with light pressure with the back of a regular Bic pen I can move the first set of creases down far enough to be under the lip and then go over all 4 edges (2 per filter). The construction seems a bit more solid than the previous compatible cabin filter I got from Revain, but since I change them every year that might not matter in the long run.
