Felt on the base of these rubber footpads does not remain. I put them on my couch, put the couch back in place and the rubber moved and almost detached from the couch leg. Then I noticed that the next day after the next movement of the sofa, the felt immediately peeled off. It's a waste of money to buy them. And I stupidly bought two packs for all my furniture! The product description should state that it can only be used on the smoothest of floors. The slightest bump or roughness on the surface of the floor and the rubber slips off and the felt comes off!
