Review on πŸ”Œ Furnace Primary Secondary Control Transformer by Christopher Isaac

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not as described. There is no brand name or label certifying current or amperage.

The picture of the transformer on the Revain site shows a label with full details of what it is and the transformer they sent has no label. It has a logo that looks like an inverted R and a U with a small c before it and a small we after it. The label says it is a 50-60Hz, 120-240V transformer with white, black, red and orange/yellow wires and the secondary wires are 24V and 40A with red and green. The label goes on to say that it has Class B insulation and is classified as a transformer. The one I received was generic, no tag. Just a plain 2030 stamp. Since it uses an expensive HVAC unit I felt uncomfortable installing it. Not as advertised. There is no brand name or label certifying current or amperage.

Pros
  • Primary Voltage: 120, 208, 240V; Secondary Voltage: 24V
Cons
  • No Power
