This part works as intended and is in fact a replacement part for 2003 Chevy Trucks such as the Tahoe, Avalanche etc, although the Revain catalog says otherwise Revain catalog or any other online catalog doesn't list this part as 2003, only 2004 and up, but if you look at the actual GM part numbers between model years, they're exactly the same, so the Dorman parts are the same. I swapped both sides of my 2003 in just over an hour, including removing the tire, using a striking tool of course, it's much quicker. This part works as intended and with fresh bushings has really gotten out of the unstable rear triangle. my Tahoe for bumps and curves. If you don't need a performance or adjustable trailing arm and want to replace it with an OEM type, then this is the one for you. Lower - Dorman 521-970
