Big difference best replacement parts

I've been using them for about a month now. The first impression is that there is a clear difference in braking distance. I have a 14 Jeep jku rubicon with a 3.5" lifter, 35" and almost 800 pounds of recycled steel (bumpers, skids, winch, etc.) and it took me a long time to stop using stock rotors and brake pads. Huge improvement! It stops the jeep with ease even on the steepest descents (with some margin it still creeps slowly if I don't turn the transmission off). The pedal feels softer after

Stopping is easy now

When I got them I thought they would lighten my jeep a bit. Bumpers, sills and pillars are foldable. When I paused, I was a bit concerned. I pressed the pedal to slow down. After each pass, he became more and more reactive. I finally took a longer ride and let them cool down. The house smelled of burning metal. The next morning I decided to run them again and this time I slowed down and barely touched the pedal. Now it's like stopping 10 feet from my normal position and only depressing theโ€ฆ

Not as good as OEM parts

I had these brakes on my 2012 Jeep JKU in June 2017, about 16,000 miles. When first installed they were very spongy and needed to warm up before good pad friction developed. They got better over time, but always worse than OEM brakes. Eventually they got significantly worse, so much so that I couldn't develop enough friction to activate the ABS system. At first I thought the master cylinder was leaking, I replaced the MC, bled the system and tried again, minimal change. I replaced the pads with

Noticeable improvement over my '37 Jeep JKUR, but wears out quickly

ORIGINALREVIEW ################ Universal rotors are $50 and up at local parts stores. Branded store dust-free pads start at $60. So you expect to spend $320 or more to do a complete brake job with mediocre parts, and a lot more if you go to the dealer for lack of better performance. Pads, high temperature guide grease, new clamps and dust boots for your calipers are only a few dollars more expensive than regular name brand parts. But performance is not universal. I installed them on my 2010โ€ฆ

They work VERY well!

Very happy with this purchase! Did the whole swap myself as I do most of the work on my jeep when I can. The important thing is not to look at the review left by the guy who wrote "brakes like brakes" because he probably shouldn't have worked on his Jeep at all. As long as you follow TORQUE's proper procedures and specifications for all bolts, you can be assured that this brake kit will not only perform properly, but will outperform your current OEM brakes. Yes these are just powder coated OEMโ€ฆ

My god, what's the difference.

I got my jeep about 1 year ago, I switched to this set of brakes because I've upgraded my jeep a lot since stock by adding big bumpers, armor and 35" added tires. , the jeep became very dangerous and annoying to drive, I kept hitting the brakes to somehow stop. The package arrived in good condition for the most part, a little wrinkled but nothing was missing. Installation was a very easy job that anyone can do considering these are upgraded OEM style replacement parts, screws removed, new stuff

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Improved braking performance

Bought these brakes after putting a little over 50,000 miles on factory brakes. I have a raised Jeep with 35" tires that I sometimes tow a light trailer on. Installation was easy after watching a few videos online - there was no documentation or instructions in the brake kit I received. My only complaint is that the small black rubber boots used to cover the slide pins were not included with the front kit or pads and the included lithium grease was not enough in my opinion to adequately coverโ€ฆ
