fee is accurate. Threaded connections appear to be "loose ".

I was concerned that these Chinese made compression testers had all of the various issues noted by other reviewers of this model (and appeared to be identical to other lower rated models). When I first checked the compression on my Volvo T5 2005 V50 with a loaner block from an auto parts store, it came out 70-95-95-95-70 when the engine was cold. Hmm, not good, but the engine is cold and I have to pay back the loan. So I order this Jiffetor Compression Tester which also includes a 6" rigid metal threaded pipe fitting. You may have noticed that most other kits don't have a long thread adapter, it costs 2-3 dollars more than the sim kits. I was concerned that the black rubber hose adapter would come loose or break when twisted. This time I warm up the engine as suggested, the readings are 100-x-115-x-82 (it was after an oil jet into the spark plug hole). I concluded that a cold and a warm engine gave the same psi pressure, the pro rental kit and the Jiffetor gave the same psi pressure. The oil splashes increased the compression slightly, which is to be expected on older engines. The picture shows a Jiffetor gauge fitted to an air compressor outlet and all 3 show the same reading.
