I tried many slippers and they were all too hot and my feet were sweaty. They breathe enough to keep you warm without overheating (I wear them with thin wool socks). The price initially put me off considering them, but now I have no more doubts after seeing the quality and comfort. The sole and insert are quite flimsy, but there is a rubber/gel/something type insert that is very comfortable. In fact, nothing would have changed about them. They do true to size pretty much, but as they are only whole sizes I had to try on both a 10 and 11 to get the right size (I usually have a 10.5). I went on to 10 which felt a little tighter than I would have liked but they loosened up and conformed to my foot making them perfect. On top of that great slippers and great brand. I'll check out her other shoes now!
