I have been using this compressor for over a year now. It is very reliable and inflates tires very quickly. I've used it to inflate my car and motorcycle tires on a weekly basis just to keep the pressure to the manufacturer's specs. I ordered a second one for a good friend and his was good too. Rest assured that out of hundreds of these units some will be defective but they will replace them anyway so I don't understand the bad reviews. It's like anything that has an electronic or mechanical part, in the end you get a bad apple. It happened to me too. I'm now ordering another one to keep in my off-road jeep for emergencies.
