I recently received a new fridge and because it was specially ordered from stock it didn't come with an ice tray or storage bin. This ice cube set is perfect for what I need. The tray itself is easy to manipulate as it's a combination of silicone and a harder plastic, but not rigid. I don't foresee any tearing of the tray due to the material. The lid fits after many uses, does not deform. I dig the size of cubes! The holding tray can hold two full trays of finished dice; No more climbing on the lid. I bought it mainly for iced coffee. I'm not an "ice cream" person, let's just say, but it's nice to have a basket of little cubes in the freezer! The ice cream is easy to remove from the bowl without much effort and this set takes up very little space. I'm glad I bought!
