I live in an apartment complex and the maintenance staff are quite strict about not using cleaning of sewage chemicals while you ask them to slowly clean a tub drain or sink. However, I have fairly long hair and I'm sure the cleaning staff isn't paid well enough to counteract the horror that has been accumulating in my bathtub drain over the past few years. Janitor I went straight to work. No instructions needed, the concept is pretty simple: you grab the end of the tool that is the handle, push the pointed end down the drain and the barbed end hooks into the nest of hairs that wraps around your plumbing. I didn't even lower the thing 3 inches before it got stuck in the tufts of hair and created mud. I gagged to get rid of all the nauseating clogs lurking in my bathtub drain. Now I understand why it's a 3 pack. I just didn't plan on cleaning and reusing the plastic tool. Very happy with this product, glad it comes packaged.
