Review on πŸ”Œ STEPPERONLINE 0.3A 2-Phase 10-30VDC Micro-Step Motor with Multiple Resolutions by Chad Carter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Stepperonline drivers are great

I have been using two of their models for several months and am working on a custom machine. These things are durable and easy to use. I control them with a Rapsberry Pi using the GPIOzero library. I code them as LEDs and use the toggle() command to toggle them. Using the Raspberry Pi requires level shifting from 3.3V to 5V. Texas Instruments' CD74ACT541 line driver IC handles this just fine. Just apply 5V to the chip. The 3.3V signals from the Pi go one way, the 5V signals go the other way to the stepper motor driver.
