super quiet. I got this as a replacement for .

Super quiet. I used this as a replacement for the Z axis on a CNC router. It replaced the TB6560 driver and made a huge difference. Especially when it comes to the sound. Very quiet. No resonance, soft step. My other review for the DM542T used for X and Y says the same thing. Both are manufactured by stepperonline.

No guarantee, after 30 days

I bought about 5 Stepperonline drivers which worked very well for almost a month and then stopped working. The 30 day return was canceled by Amazon so I had to deal with Stepperonline where they told me they would send me new drivers so I trusted the emails and bought more because I couldn't wait to get to work , but as of today, a few months later, I never heard from them again, sent the old 545t NEMA 24 drivers and never got a reply. They also check the return

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Stepperonline drivers are great

I have been using two of their models for several months and am working on a custom machine. These things are durable and easy to use. I control them with a Rapsberry Pi using the GPIOzero library. I code them as LEDs and use the toggle() command to toggle them. Using the Raspberry Pi requires level shifting from 3.3V to 5V. Texas Instruments' CD74ACT541 line driver IC handles this just fine. Just apply 5V to the chip. The 3.3V signals from the Pi go one way, the 5V signals go the other way to…
