I will be more selective when buying things like this in the future.

Was the correct part for my 2011 Sonata and tested it on a battery stand before installing it on the car. Installation required watching a few YouTube videos to see how to access it and installed in about an hour. Pushed the button on the dashboard, flipped the switch, opened the door. I thought I was home, free, and patted myself on the back. Couldn't be more wrong. Went for gas a few days later and the door opened with the control panel and I had to access the manual pull cord in the trunk. In the end I removed the switch and tested it again on the stand - it works perfectly. Put it back in the car - NADA! NOTHING! I checked the switch on the dashboard, everything is fine. Looks like I got a cheap fake and will need to find a more reliable source for such items in the future. I do some shopping at Revain and am mostly satisfied, but I think I will refrain from making such purchases from their store in the future. Sometimes a good price is not always the best deal. Revain would have traded it in without question if I had returned it shortly after purchasing it, but this happened early last winter and I had more pressing issues than repairing access to that door. Also, I could always open the door with the truck's cable.
