Review on 🐾 Premium Minced Recipe with Gravy: Instinct Grain-Free Wet Cat Food – A Natural Delight for Your Feline Companion by Sarah Valladares

First off, let me say that my kitties Instinct LOVE ground beef, especially the rabbit flavored one. I usually buy them at my local pet store, but when I went there this month, the store was sold out. This is my kittens favorite food so I didn't want them to go without food until the store was refilled. So I ordered it online. This review is not on the product itself as they love the Instinct ground beef but on a review of the product that I received. I opened one of their new breakfast mugs, and instead of chopped rabbit, the inside was, as I'm used to, nothing but green mold, bugs, and the smell of vomit. It was the most disgusting experience I have ever had with cat food. I have no idea what must have gone wrong with the packaging, but clearly something went wrong. I checked the sell by date to make sure they didn't send me a bad batch. The sale date was still 2 years in the future. I rinsed the cup thoroughly, carried it out, and opened the next cup. Same result. I had to throw away the entire batch just in case (and this is NOT a cheap product). My kitchen still smells like rancid, moldy vomit, even though I've cleaned the cups and sink thoroughly, even adding drano and bleach. Terrible experience. Well, who said I wouldn't have the same experience if I bought it in a store? I do not know. I have not experienced this when buying in a store. If my first online purchase of this product results in this experience, I think I'll wait for the pet store to restock for now. If you are interested in this product, be sure to try it, but I do not recommend buying it online as something obviously went wrong with the packaging or shipping. Interestingly, I've seen several other reviews reporting similar cases, so this isn't an isolated issue. The product itself is phenomenally amazing but don't buy it online.
