There is no way this unit is rated to operate on 110-220 volts at 1500 watts but I know for sure that UL will never certify this product, it uses 22 AWG wire , I would consider using it in a 12v system with the parts used, it can probably work with a 12v notification light or maybe a case fan, but I bought it to power a greenhouse heat lamp, and I wouldn't even consider using 120 volts and 500 watts on 18 AWG wire. 22 AWG alone, if you read the review and don't understand the terminology, this will be frying home electricity within minutes of installation . It can run on voltage that the car uses but certainly not what will work in homes. The package can claim but is NOT equipped to process its claims.
