I bought this dryer as a temporary dryer because my regular dryer broke and I still hadn't decided which 'real' dryer to buy. So far I'm pleasantly surprised and will probably use this instead of a traditional dryer for a long time. Here are the pros: Quiet - makes no sound! I live in a townhouse where the dryer is next to the living room. I used to not be able to hear the TV when the dryer was on. Energy saving - small plug. Consumes no energy. Requires no ventilation or adapters - can be used anywhere. No adaptor. This is a convection dryer. Portable - no ventilation, on wheels and ultra light. Large capacity - holds a full load of laundry. No ironing required - when you hang your clothes on wire hangers they come out like a dry cleaner! Love. That. Just turn the knob. That's easy. Small footprint - it's actually about the same width as my old dryer, but the wheels make it work anywhere. Other things - no dryer sheets needed as clothes don't fall over. Also no cleaning fluff, no lint traps. Also, the clothes smell a lot better for some reason - it's the smell of dry cleaning. The duvets and towels get very warm and very fluffy which I can't explain. Cons: Time: May take a little longer, but not by much. Forced Ventilation: This model's forced ventilation system must balance on the lower bars. That means you have to go very deep to activate it. Also, my machine wouldn't balance on the rack so I laid out a large baking sheet and placed the machine on it and it seemed to work. In any case. I feel like the pros outweigh the cons for me and it was definitely cheaper than buying a traditional dryer as I enjoy the novelty and efficiency of this dryer. I'm very happy with it! 💜
