It didn't fit in any of the air vents in our boat but did stick properly to the glass or clean glass like surface it was designed for no problems so far, phone holds normally, it doesn't fall on windy days when our dog walks past it. I liked the design in that you can change the angle in seconds while the phone is on it. My husband's phone is newer and much bigger than mine, but still fits in it.
