I only bought a set of 4 because I didn't want to be bothered that they didn't work and I had to send them back. Setting it up with the included instructions sounds easy. But it gets more complicated if you don't switch the lamp to the right mode to talk to Google assit or Alexa. I have both The one I used is on top, I placed 3 of these then one on bottom and as soon as they start flashing you know they are connecting. However, don't do what I did and give them all different names. Just name them "Light 1", "Light 2", "Light 3", etc. and say which room they are in. I name them based on where I posted them, confusing Google and Alexa. so just for info. So far it's good when I come home late to a dark house, I just notice it when I walk in. Alexa, please turn on bulb 1. FINISHED. So I will get more for other rooms.
