Review on Zenacolor Watercolour Paper Pad Painting by Denise Davis

I'm not a very experienced watercolor painter but I've tried different types of paper and in short I'll give it to my 8 year old daughter for her art. I don't think anyone serious about watercolor would buy this as it's clearly not cotton paper, but I gave it a try based on the positive reviews. I had a GOOD time my watercolors behaved on this paper. However, since it's not cotton, it doesn't hold water very well and it takes a long time for the pigment to settle, making washing (especially a simple flat wash) very difficult. Also, the texture of this paper is quite distracting. All this to say that for crafts and certain projects or for children, in my opinion, this paper is sufficient. When I switched to cotton, I immediately noticed a difference and felt much lighter. :)
