I bought two of these and they sent me very nice driftwood! Most places charge $8 for just ONE piece so it was a great price and I was able to create a pretty cool aquascape for my 10 gallon tank with this wood. I think it's Mopani but I'm not sure but the wood seems quite dense and hard so I'm sure it will hold up well in the water. If you use them in an aquarium, be sure to boil them. Change the water 4 or 5 times to minimize tannin leaching - I've had this in my tank for a few weeks now and have noticed minimal tannin leaching (I also use Purigen to keep the water clean).
